Professor Schoemaker Plantage in Delft is also called “the New Delft School”. The architectural style is indeed based on the Delft School, which is one of the most important movements within traditionalism. This is reflected in the familiar main forms and understated details. The emphasis is on simple but recognizable main forms, combined with strong silhouettes.

This beautiful project, which was executed and delivered in phases, consists of 5 different types of housing with a total of over eight hundred homes, within 2 different residential areas, namely the brick neighborhood and the grass neighborhood.

The variegated reddish-brown bricks, the entrances, the end houses, the gable ends, and the staggered gutter heights are typical features of this specific architecture.

In this beautiful project, the Holonite products are very prominent. You simply cannot miss them. All Holonite products are executed in dark gray, contrasting with the variegated reddish-brown bricks. The very striking door and window frames are the eye-catchers of the facade. The door frames are worked out in as much detail as possible. For example, the surround of the door frames is partly recessed into the facade, and a beautiful porch has been created at the entrance of the homes, including a front threshold that completes the frame. You will also find reveals at various window sections that divide the window, and the window sills are also manufactured by Holonite.

In the brick neighborhood, the eye is immediately drawn to the beautiful ornaments above the doorpost. These ornaments were specially custom-made by Holonite for this project. A canopy has also been created above this doorpost. Here too, you will find Holonite window sills. Finally, a number of impressive window frames have been installed.
