New construction of 30 homes on Wapserveenstraat in The Hague

New construction of 30 homes on Wapserveenstraat in The Hague

Under the name Lieverley, ERA Contour, in collaboration with architectural firm FORM, realized 30 ‘beterBASIShuizen’ (better basic homes) in the Morgenstond-West district on Wapserveenstraat. The Hague Southwest is one of the largest post-war residential areas in the Netherlands. Old apartment buildings are increasingly making way for new construction of family homes and apartments. With 30 homes, Lieverley is the final piece of the renovations in the Morgenstond-West district. The first pile was driven on August 20, 2015, and all homes were completed in the spring of 2016.

The homes in Lieverley were built according to the beterBASIShuis (better basic home) housing concept from TBI WOONlab. Because the modern housing consumer wants freedom of choice and individuality, TBI company ERA Contour, in collaboration with architectural firm FORM, Hazenberg Bouw, and Koopmans Bouwgroep, develops concepts, styles, and tastes within TBI WOONlab that can quickly meet all possible individual housing desires. beterBASIShuis is one of the concepts that offers consumers an affordable and sustainable home with low maintenance costs and optimal energy performance.

Holonite produced white frames, wall copings, and string courses for the Lieverley project. These white elements form a beautiful contrast in the colorful brickwork.
