Holonite is moving forward

Holonite, a leading manufacturer of composite construction products, proudly announces the commissioning of a new pultrusion machine at its factory in Tholen. This strategic expansion enables Holonite to bring the production of its high-quality thresholds, including part of the BUVA range, in-house. The investment underlines Holonite’s ambition to further strengthen its position as an innovative and reliable partner in the carpentry industry. With the arrival of the new machine, capacity is significantly increased, allowing Holonite to respond more quickly and efficiently to growing market demand.

Pultrusion, an automated continuous production process, guarantees consistent quality, dimensional stability, wear resistance, short delivery times, and profiles with exceptional strength due to fiber content of up to 70%.

The arrival of this pultrusion machine is a milestone for Holonite “, according to Roeland Marijnissen.” It not only enables us to produce a larger portion of our range in-house, which benefits delivery reliability and flexibility, but also gives us room to innovate further. We can’t wait to share the benefits of this expansion with our customers in the carpentry industry .”

Acceleration of sustainable innovation

In addition to improving efficiency, the machine expansion also contributes to the further development of Holonite’s sustainable solutions. Holonite and parent company BUVA are working together on the rollout of a CO₂-neutral threshold, made from biocomposite materials such as flax fibers and natural resins. The pultrusion technique, with minimal CO₂ emissions and low energy consumption during production, perfectly aligns with these sustainability ambitions.

Holonite continues to focus on delivering high-quality, sustainable, and efficient solutions for the construction sector. The new pultrusion machine is a major step in this mission and confirms Holonite’s ambition in the development of innovative building materials.
