CO2-neutral threshold
Holonite and BUVA introduce a revolutionary CO₂-neutral threshold, manufactured from biocomposite materials such as flax fibers and natural resins. This innovative threshold not only contributes to a lower environmental impact but also enhances the sustainability of construction projects and the future-proofing of the sector.
Sustainable building
As pioneers in sustainable building solutions, Holonite and BUVA join forces to set a new standard in the construction industry. The CO₂-neutral threshold is designed with a minimal ecological footprint while offering high-quality performance in terms of wear resistance, low maintenance, and sturdiness.
What makes this threshold CO₂-neutral?
The production of this threshold uses partly sustainable, environmentally friendly materials and green energy sources. Flax fibers and bio-resin absorb CO₂ during their growth, while the production process causes only limited emissions. This levels out the CO₂ balance, and we are even working towards a CO₂-positive impact by using sustainable energy, such as solar power.
The benefits at a glance
- Environmentally friendly: Made from natural, renewable raw materials.
- CO₂ reduction: Reduces the ecological impact of construction projects.
