Renovation of flat roofs in south Culemborg

Housing association KleurrijkWonen has renovated its residential units in Van Hogendorpstreet, Van der Duyn van Maasdamstreet and Van Limburg Stirumstreet. At present, the municipality of Culemborg is working to implement redevelopment plans for various public spaces. As part of these efforts, one particular neighbourhood was identified for comprehensive renovation work to bring it in step with the times. A plan was developed in agreement with the residence to refurbish the streets.  The renovation work was performed by Knaapen Renovatie & Onderhoud. De Loods architecten en adviseurs B.V. was commissioned for the designs.

During a series of information evenings, residents of Van der Duyn van Maasdamstreet drew attention to the fact that their street could benefit from more colour. Housing association KleurrijkWonen truly lived up to its Dutch name (colourful housing), working in cooperation with De Loods Architecten en adviseurs B.V. and Knaapen Renovatie & Onderhoud to provide entrance areas around the white façades with a series of vibrant doors and porch roofs. As part of this cheerful project, Holonite provided white and dark grey window sills that  add subtle accents.
