Renovation of façades in Utrecht neighbourhood of overvecht

Housing association Mitros renovated a total of 640 residences in the neighbourhood of Overvecht-Noord. These residences are part of two large middle-rise units, namely the Vechtzoom and the Gagelzoom. The façade renovation work focused on the architecture of the residences, which is characterised by the use of blocks on all sides, lattice façades with large openings and graphics with glazed stone accents. Cradle to Cradle-certified black Holonite Natura window surrounds were supplied for the project in order to achieve maximum sustainability.

This project has been nominated for the Gulden Feniks [Golden Phoenix] Award.
