Groningen Oostelijke ringweg infrastructure project

The Oostelijke Ringweg in Groningen features four viaducts clad in natural stone sourced from Macedonia and finished with Holonite wall covering elements. The natural stone used in this infrastructure project has a brickwork finish. This project created employment opportunities in Macedonia.

The municipality of Groningen contracted Natuurgevelsteen BV to construct four viaducts in natural stone. Designer Nol Molenaar from Nol Adviesbureau previously incorporated the product into various designs, including a natural stone embankment at Euroborg railway station in Groningen.

The four viaducts clad in natural stone have been finished with Holonite wall covering elements. Natuurgevelsteen BV has recently been nominated by the Dutch embassy for its CSR strategy. The company’s aim is to create employment opportunities in Macedonia. Holonite is pleased to embrace this form of corporate social responsibility.
