Development plan for new building in Uden

Hoek Promenade is a brand-new shopping centre which has been built in the heart of Uden according to an urban development plan. PAM was contracted by project developer ProWinko to build the 21-metre-high complex. However, the urban area is designed to have more than just one purpose – it is a functional blend of stores, services, parking and residential units. It was designed by the Uden-based architectural firm Bonnemayer Architecten. Area Wonen was also closely involved in bringing the project to fruition.

Hoek Promenade is located to the west of the shopping centre. The private investors ProWinko and Active Interest are leasing the various units in the complex to companies such as H&M and WE. A total of 33 apartments have been built above the stores. There is also a two-storey parking garage. The apartments facing onto Pastoor Spieringsstreet have a view of the church on Sint Janstreet.

For this project, Holonite supplied standard wall covering elements and window sills along with curved wall covering elements and window profiles produced specifically for this building. The custom-made elements perfectly complement the contours of the dynamic building. Holonite was also contracted to provide the building with brown-grey (23) supports in the lift area and stairwells.
